The Australian Government is funding the Fair Work Commission’s decision on the Aged Care Work Value case. This means a 15% award wage increase from 30 June 2023. The Government has earmarked $2.2 billion for the wage increase in the HCP Program and expect all this is passed on for the full benefit of workers. A more skilled and diverse workforce will deliver safe, consistent, high-quality aged care services for in-home care recipients.
